Bam AutoHaus has been servicing the City of Chicago and surrounding areas for over 30 years. Starting out in the late 1980s on an unpaved lot and trailer on the corner of West End and Cicero the business quickly grew and in less than 10 years from its trailer with no garage bays. The existing site was too small to service the growing customer base. Therefore a 6,000 square foot facility was constructed in 1996 with four garage bays, and paved lot to build a proper location for fleet/taxi servicing, vehicle repairs, and auto sales.
Owner Sue Pourian has operated for more than 30 years in the Austin Neighborhood of Chicago. Sue migrated to Chicago in the mid 1980s, working in a gas station, she knew at an early age she had a passion and love for cars. By the 1990s, Sue began sell cars from her home, and by the early 2000s she began to formally sell cars at the lot on the corner of West End and Cicero.
Additionally, Sue has spent many years working in the taxi cab / fleet service industry, and through his extensive mechanical knowledge of taxicabs she has assembled an expert team of diagnosticians for most vehicles used as taxicabs ranging from Ford Marathons to today’s Toyota hybrid vehicles.
